What is Waxxd Premium Pearled Candles?
Waxxd Candles is a 100% plant-based & non-toxic granulated wax that lets you customise all aspects of your candle.
The pearled wax offers flexibility in your candle setups while reducing wax waste, for a fully customisable candle solution.
How do I setup the candle?
Firstly: Fill your candle cylinders with Waxxd pearls.
Secondly: Insert a wick, leaving the 0.5-1cm of the wick sticking out.
Third: Light & enjoy the candle
Fourth: Replace the wick after use to make it brand new again
Do I have to change the wick every time I light the candle?
No, you don't have to change the wick is there is still wick remaining. If you wish to refresh the appearance you can then either:
1. Take out the wick with the set wax around it, break down the set wax and re-insert the wick into the granulated wax.
2. Take out the wick with the set wax around it, break down the set wax and re-insert the wick into the granulated wax Upside down, so they the wick looks fresh and new!
How much wick needs to be left out?
When inserting the wick into the granulated wax, leave out about 0.5-1cm end only.
Leaving out more wick reduces the burn time of the wick, as it burns rapidly until the flame reaches the wax.
Why does my wick extinguish quickly?
If your wick extinguishes quickly, it's likely because the wick tip is positioned too far above the candles pearls when starting.
To ensure a longer burn time, insert the wick so that it sticks out about 0.5 cm - 1cm above the surface. Avoid leaving the wick sticking out too far, as this can shorten the burn time.
What container/ vessel do I need to use?
We recommend using a container that is at least 9cm wide. This will ensure that the melted wax pool doesn't touch the edges of the container.
A fireproof container is preferred but you can use other containers as long as the melted wax doesn't touch the edges. This will prevent the container from heating up excessively.
How much wax do I need to fill a specific container?
We can help you work out what amount of wax you need in order to fill specific-sized containers! Simply contact us via the chat function, or pop us an email, we would be happy to give guidance!
Can I use Waxxd Pearled Candles to make floating candles?
Absolutely! Our white pearled candles float on water. Add decorations into a vase, fill it with water until the decor is submerged, and then pour your Waxxd Pearled Candles on top. Pour at least 3cm in height of pearls on top of the water, ensuring that the bottom of the wick does not touch the water.
Can I reuse the pearls after using them as floating candles?
Yes! Just scoop out the pearls with a spoon or catch them in a fine-meshed strainer/seive, then allow them to air dry on paper towels before reusing. The more you spread them out, the faster they will dry.

Are they scented?
Waxxd Premium Pearled Candles are unscented. However, if you desire a scented experience, you can infuse the candle sand with your preferred essential or candle fragrance oil before lighting it. Please exercise caution when doing so, as oils are highly flammable and should never be added to a burning candle.
Can I add my own scent?
Yes! If you desire a scented candle, you can infuse our pearled candles with your preferred essential or candle fragrance oil before lighting it. Please exercise caution when doing so, as oils are highly flammable and should never be added to a burning candle.
Alternatively, light the candle, wait for a pool of melted wax to gather around the wick, then blow out the flame, drop a few drops of the essential oil in the melted wax pool, and then relight the candles. This avoids risk with the flame.
Regular candles give me a headache/ allergic reactions. Is Waxxd Candles any different?
Yes. Waxxd candles are 100% natural, non-toxic and fragrance-free. It's completely safe for health and a great alternative for people who are sensitive or get headaches/ allergic reactions to normal conventional candles.
Is your candle safe around children and pets?
Yes, Waxxd candles are completely safe around children and pets. It is 100% natural and plant-based. No synthetic fragrances, dyes or other toxic chemicals.
How is Waxxd Candles safer than other candles?
Unlike regular candles, Waxxd candles self-extinguishes when tipped over or when the wick burns out
